What A Good Dog

I can't believe he did it but he finally did. After months of work I was able to have him out of his kennel while doing house work. It was AMAZING to say the least. We started in the kitchen and I just told him to lay down, no command or anything, just asking him to be good. I also handed him a Dentabone. Once he was done crunching away on that, eating it in about 3 min or less, he just laid down on the floor. He watched me sweep, while Anya was watching him from the dining room chair. Then I moved to the hall and bathroom and he just ploped his nubbin down and watched. When we got to the living room we hit a snag, there were people, my fiancee and brother, he just got him self so excited. I got him his antler to chew on and he just laid down on his bed. Oh how he despises that bed, but he still did so good. I'm so proud of his progress.

Walk

Well yesterday was beautiful outside so I decided to take Titan for his second walk. The first one happened when we first got him and did not go well at all. He drug me down the street this way and that. I'm pretty strong and lucky for me it takes a lot to knock me down. So I decided to try it again. This walk blew my mind! He stayed right next to me with very few corrections. I was so happy with him. By the end of the first walk I was exhausted and my hands were raw from trying to get him under control. This time on the other hand, I felt actually refreshed from it. Who would have thought? I hope over the next few nice days to be able to take more as well as con my fiancee into taking some pictures. I'm so happy that the cold weather is breaking.

New Friend!

Well my brother came into town yesterday. At first I figured Titan would be barking the entire time. Come to find out, I was wrong. I had them meet outside and he was a good boy. He only jumped once. Then he quickly calmed himself down. They have been just fine. Titan seems to not even notice another body in the house. We did have one small mishap. He decided to drag my fiance across the yard. It started hailing here, after raining all day, and the little hail balls where bouncing all over the grass. He decided he had to eat them. All of them. He drug her across the entire back yard. Lucky for her, the grass was wet and her leather coat just slid on over. I was recently watching a friend of mine's dog so I haven't had enough time to work with his training.
